“It is wonderful to have this – it improves access and inclusion for those who need it and allows us to expand our aquatic programs,” manager Leigh Eastwood said.
“The money came from Northcott’s FundAbility Program under the criteria of “making your community a more inclusive place for adults who have a disability”.
“Inclusion means being part of what everyone else is doing, regardless of your age, background or disability and this is what the chair offers people here.”
Leigh said it was wonderful to see one of their regulars, Brian, able to get into the pool and play with his two daughters Molly and Madeline.
