The temporary closure will allow the completion of road resurfacing work in this area and is expected to occur between 6am and 6pm, weather permitting.
Motorists travelling to Letitia Close, Mattick Road, Nursery Road and Old Coast Road will need to use the highway exit at the Nambucca Heads interchange and travel down Giinagay Way (old Pacific Highway) to Old Coast Road. Motorists travelling to Macksville should use the highway exit at the Bald Hill Road interchange.
Motorists are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of all signs, including reduced speed limits marked on electronic message signs, and drive to the conditions of the road.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience while this important work is completed.
