In a nail-biting finish, Donna Easey took her opponent to the 19th hole with her team mates looking on anxiously.
Team results: Glenys Thompson 2 down, Linne Street 1 down, Donna Easey 1 up, Jennifer Thorne 5/3 and Sally Welsh 2 up.
Nambucca entered two teams in the CNC Northern Division with the club’s Stingrays team coming third by one point after a countback separated NH Dolphins and Macleay Valley.
Congratulations to all nine Dolphins who participated though the season. Many thanks to Port Macquarie Golf Club for hosting the final on their magnificent course and the CNC committee for such a well run competition.
