At Coronation Park, it was the Nambucca Strikers in full throttle in the first half against Corindi Breakers, as the game was as good as done by the break, though the Breakers regathered and put it to the Strikers in the second half.
Down the road at North Macksville, it was the hosts who opened on fire, rattling on four goals against the Boambee Bombers in men’s third division.
The Stingers didn’t put the cue in the rack, rather, it was full credit to the Bombers who fought back to … 4-all!
With minutes on the clock and the momentum with the visitors, Macksville dug deep to find the winner.
