Twenty-three-year-old Aaron ‘Azza’ Argent was tragically killed in a motor bike accident on Sunday, May 27, where it is believed a wallaby or deer collided with him while he was test riding his bike after an engine rebuild.

He was on his family property at Argents Hill, when the accident occurred.
Aaron was born and raised in Bowraville, and attended both Bowraville Central and Macksville High schools where he excelled in sport and leadership roles.
He was a particularly talented rugby league player who started his playing career with Bowra Junior Rugby League Club. He went on to play at a representative level.
Aaron completed a Bachelor of Education with honours (Health and Physical Education) at Newcastle University in 2017 before working for a term at Dubbo South High School.
He recently returned to his home town of Bowraville to take up a temporary teaching role at Macksville High School.
Aaron had a unique and special relationship with everyone he met.
He had a magnetic personality which naturally drew people to him, and his enthusiasm and interest in the people around him made each person feel unique and like a best friend.
His loss will be felt throughout the community.
Aaron's parents, Jenny and Rob, older brothers Curt, Jeff and Dan are devastated by their loss but their grief has been eased, in part, by the knowledge that Aaron (a registered organ donor) has saved five lives, and given sight to two, through organ and tissue donation.

Aaron’s life will be celebrated at the Bowraville Race Course at 1pm this Saturday.
It is a BYO drinks event and locals are kindly requested to bring a savoury plate to assist with catering.
Aaron loved his 'happy socks' so please wear your silliest, happiest socks on the day (in any way you choose) and in the words of Zac Brown, one of Aaron’s favourite bands, “wear a pair of jeans that fit just right".
