Organised by the Bellingen and Nambucca Rural Australians for Refugees (RAR), the event aims to raise funds to support refugees and asylum seekers in Australia.
The line up includes the very talented musician Heather Rose on piano and vocals; and the inimitable duo ‘The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach.
The Wild Women have been singing their way through numerous cultural revolutions and standing up against injustice for many years. You are guaranteed a wonderful fun time and uplifting experience.
Archibald and Sulman prize winner, Australian artist Wendy Sharpe is getting behind the refugee outreach concert by donating one of her paintings for auction.
It was flown up from Wendy’s studio in central Sydney over the weekend. Organisers are delighted to have the popular artist’s support as Wendy’s works sell for many thousands of dollars.
