Winter School is a free program for Indigenous students in Years 10, 11 and 12 who are considering further studies beyond high school.
Throughout a week-long residential program, participants are introduced to tertiary studies in the area of their choice, while also experiencing university life.
Students are guided by people who are committed to nurturing their leadership, growth and development with a comprehensive, fun and engaging program of activities; and mentored by Indigenous students currently studying at UNSW, along with graduates, academics and experts from industry. They will also have the opportunity to meet staff who can help identify their areas of interest and provide further information on gaining entry into their degree.
