The walk was very well attended and attracted a few new walkers.
A delicious morning tea was provided by Matts Café in Stuarts Point and Lucky Door prizes were arranged by Area Walk Co-ordinator, Maryanne Anderson from Coffs Harbour.
Benefits of walking
Regular walking is great for the health and has enormous social benefits as well. It’s one of the most popular forms of activity in Australia. Walking helps to reduce stress, be more alert, have a healthier body and build strong relationships.
