This idyllic establishment is 10km from Wauchope.
An interesting 4WD trip into Bellrowan revealed a beautiful valley of rolling countryside, natural bush, rainforest and creeks.
Comfortable cabins with bunk accommodation made for cheerful camaraderie.
The Saturday Pub Ride to Beechwood Tavern took just over three hours…each horse matched to appropriate rider.
All these Bellrowan horses were in beaut condition, perfectly behaved and the 12 riders were escorted by three staff riders, who kept an eye on all, were helpful when needed and kept safety paramount as the ride went through wonderful and varied terrain.
After dinner at the tavern, there was an exhilarating 4WD trip back to camp, while the horses were fed and settled behind the tavern for the night.
There was a hot brekkie next morning before being driven back to the horses, remounted on the same steeds and a free flowing, happy three-hour ride back to base, with a billy tea and damper break an hour in.
The NNHC could not fault this wonderful establishment: great staff, scenery, food and, of course, beautiful horses.
