After a strong start in week 1, there was an air of optimism amongst the Nambucca camp.
However, it was Bello who came out firing, dominating the first 10, nearly breaking the deadlock on a couple of occasions.
Midfield dynamo Mark Williams made a nuisance of himself breaking down the Bello attacks, and the hard work paid off as Williams bagged the opener to settle Nambucca nerves.
With Bellingen clearly rattled, Fran Nieto showed great composure to slot his first of the game earning a quick fire two-goal cushion.
The Strikers midfield began to enjoy more possession with Ryan Flack busy and full of hustle and Logan winning his battles on the wing.
