Street artist Joe Brown has started leaving his marks in Wallace Lane, giving acrylic form to those much discussed and debated revitalisation ideas for the town.
Rod Edwards of Macksville Rotary said Joe had been projecting the outlines of his designs onto the wall for the last three nights but would start adding the colours tomorrow, Thursday.
“It’s very exciting seeing it unfolding,” Rod said.
“We (Rotary) are the project managers … I would never have believed so much organisation goes into something like this.
“We’ve been busy with the red tape of traffic requirements etc plus talking to shop owners about doors that need closing and how that will affect emergency exits. It’s all the stuff you don’t see!”
