Nambucca Aquatic Swim Club, the ‘Nambucca Neptunes’, celebrated the successes of their first season at their summer season presentation night on March 27.

It was a fun night of swimming followed by the awards presentation and a random swimwear giveaway.
Parents did not have to cook and all swimmers were treated to pizza.
During the warmer months some of the Neptunes competed at competitions in the North Coast, which were held at Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, and Macksville.
One swimmer, Arrin Stirrat-Black, even competed in the Speedo Finals at Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre .
All club members showed improvements over the summer months and participated in their school carnivals with most going on to represent their schools at regional level.
During the cooler months the Neptunes will be meet on Sundays at 9.30am for swimming and brunch.
There will be different events during the cooler months. New members are welcome.

Club Person of the Year - Jacky Robins for her tireless organising the BBQ every week and helping the club with start-up fundraising from the BBQ sales.
