Living full time in their 1983 Toyota campervan ‘Saffy’, Jess Davidson, a hospitality trainer, and Andy Hoffman, a graphic designer, did what many only fantasies about when they quit their 9-5 life to find adventure in the great outdoor.
And so they created their mobile cafe Round & Round.
Named after the classic hit from Aussie rock band The Go-Betweens, the Round & Round caravan plans to go…
Round and round, up and down, Through the streets of your town.
Round & Round will trade back-to-back every morning for almost a year
“We’ve found no one else doing this… starting from scratch, leaving Melbourne behind to live a simpler life on the road having great experiences and meeting new people,” Jess said.
“We support local towns in which we come to by buying milk that supports local farmers ( NORCO) and muffins, cakes, snacks from local bakeries and bring seriously good coffee to the travellers out there – as we know how hard it can be to find a good one on the road.”
Round & Round also sells Frank Green reusable cups to minimise its impact on the environment.
From the Grampians to Parkes, Dubbo to Hawks Nest, Alice Springs to the Kimberley, Round & Round will travel via a purpose-built caravan trailer (on the back of Saffy the Van) to bring Melbourne-grade, barista-made coffee by Rumble Coffee Roasters to festivals, caravan parks and camping grounds across the country.
If you want to try a hot brew from Jess and Andy’s coffee caravan, you will find then trading from 7.30am to 12.30pm at the Nambucca Beach Big 4 Holiday Park until April 2.
