Before hitting the shops here are some tips to ensure you make the most of the crazy day of sales.

Prior to the day, make a list of any items that you have been forever searching for, or hoping to pick up on sale as they are classed as big ticket items, such as electronics or designer labels.

This way you won’t forget these important desired items in the moment when you are bargain shopping, especially in you have little ones in tow to distract you.

Make a list of items you need from your wardrobe. This is especially helpful if you tend to over buy certain pieces and have five black dresses for example but no shoes that are appropriate to wear them with.

It’s hard to remember what you have at home, when you are at a sale and spot a great saving.

This also applies for your children and partner. Make lists for everyone and a great bonus tip is to also list all their current sizes for clothes and footwear as a go-to-guide on the day.

When buying accessories, take note that some pieces are going to be timeless such a leather items, while others will only be a passing fashion fad and won’t last more than a season.
