UPDATE: This morning, in front of her whole school, Lilly had her head shaved for the World’s Greatest Shave. She also raised $600… and because she reached her $560 target her Dad Ricki decided to shave his head as well.

Six-year-old Lilly Graham from Valla rural has wanted to shave her head for the Leukaemia Foundation for a while now.
Mum Allyson said she’s been keen on the idea since this time last year after watching school peers take part in the World’s Greatest Shave at Nambucca Heads Public School.
So come Monday, March 19, in front of her whole school, Lilly is having her head shaved to raise money and awareness for blood cancer.
Like so many, Lilly’s family have been effected by cancer. On Monday, Lilly is doing the shave for her granddad, who has been diagnosed with stage four melanoma. While it’s not a form of Leukaemia, Lilly still wanted to help and raise awareness for all types of cancer.
Currently, Lilly is almost half way to her target of $560 – enough to give a regional family a free place to stay close to treatment in the city for one week.
Every little bit counts.
