In July 2015 Cathy Fairhall lost her day to cancer. He battled for four years.
“It was one of the hardest times of my life,” Cathy said.
In memory of her Dad, and to help other families who are also going through cancer, Cathy will be braving the clippers for the World’s Greatest Shave this Saturday, March 17 at 11am, out the front of Macksville Haircare.
Cathy has set a target to raise $1000 by her shave date. She is just over half way there and would love people to sponsor her and donate to this great cause. Even if it is only $5 that you can afford it is still a help.
“I will be taking donations on the day, so come along and help out and watch me lose my hair for an amazing cause.”
Blood cancer claims more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. And today another 35 people will be given the devastating news they have leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or another blood disorder.
