Despite the forecast of torrential rain and thunderstorms the annual Nambucca-Bellingen tennis tournament went ahead at the new Gordon Park facilities under perfect conditions on Sunday, February 25.

Both teams and their supporters witnessed players come up with some magnificent tennis. Each club presented a diverse number of very young and not so young, showing us what a great social and family game tennis has become.
The challenge was fought to the bitter end and congratulations go to Nambucca winning by the smallest of margins over a very strong opposition.
The day ended with a superb lunch and refreshments supplied by the many volunteers.
Nambucca Valley Tennis Club would like to extend an invitation to all ages, come learn and play social tennis, have fun and enjoy meeting new people living in the valley.
