In recent weeks the Guardian has brought you videos and photos of the Queen’s Baton Relay as it passed through Macksville and also all the award winners from the Valley’s Australia Day award ceremony

Other highlights have been the opening of the new Bowraville Community Health Centre and heaps of fantastic photos from the huge surf carnival at South West Rocks last weekend, that saw so many of our Nippers taking part and having a great time.

We have also made sure the voices of those who are fighting bureaucratic battles were heard, in this case down at Browns Crossing, near Warrell Creek
