“It is wonderful to see these ingredients together, here,” Nambucca Shire Cr Susan Jenvey, said as she officially opened the inaugural Valla Impressions exhibition on Saturday.
Furniture designer and one of the organisers, Tracey Suter, said the opening went really well with plenty of sales to boost the coffers of the Valla commnuity’s funds.
Ten artists have collaborated to create a colourful cornucopia of creativity.
They are Sarah Andersen (Fine Furniture), Peta Coe (Painter), Lorraine Frances (Painter), Chris Hewgill (Photography), Graham Jessen (Ceramics), Lucinda Lum (Ceramics), Suellen Stubbs (Ceramics), Tracey Suter (Furniture Design) and Lyn Walsh (Ceramics)
The show, which continues until Friday, is at the Valla Community Hall (next to the Valla Pre-School) and is open daily form 10am to 4pm.
