There will be horses for sale, demonstrations, guest speakers, information, great food, and a fun family day out. The association’s open days are always popular and well attended.
Horses have been ‘pouring in’ and a percentage of these are being held for the open day sale. There will be a number of mares of various ages with young foals at foot. These horses will not be advertised prior to the day, so you will need to be there to see what is available.
These open days are major fundraisers for the association, and they are also designed to raise public awareness of the wild horses in the area.
An entrance fee of $5 as well as any purchase of morning tea or lunch helps to maintain the holding facility that is used for the horses which are removed from the Guy Fawkes River National Park.
The association is fully self-funded and run entirely by volunteers.
The open day will be held at 1378 Guyra Rd, Ebor. Gates Open 9.30am. Kids are free.
For more details, call Erica on 0428 575-342.
People are asked to bring a chair and a jumper as the weather even in summer can be fickle. Dogs are not allowed on the premises.
