I’ve put together some of our front pages in this presentation so we can remember. And take pause.
A highlight was definitely the opening of the new highway between Nambucca Heads and to the Scotts Head turn-off. The old road, like that near Valla Beach and to our south at Telegraph Point and north at Urunga has been a scene of life changing misery.
There have sadly been quite a few lows for me personally, including the passing of TJ – an unconventional and inspiring leader in the Rural Fire Service.
Let’s embrace the optimism of the young – as our unmatched Nambucca Valley has a treasure chest so rich. When you live in paradise, sometimes you are blind to the beauty.
