Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey MP, said the NSW Government has provided $137,000 under round one of the Boating Now program towards improvements at the Shelly Beach boat ramp.
“The boat ramp was resurfaced, the toilet block replaced, the launching and retrieval area for boats was improved and the stormwater drainage has all been upgraded,” Mrs Pavey said.
“The upgrade is another great example of what can be achieved by working with local councils and community organizations with funding from Boating Now.
“The improvements were identified as a priority under the Regional Boating Plan and will ensure water sport lovers continue to make the most of the region’s natural assets.”
