Domestic dispute
On Monday about 11:50am police arrested a 46-year-old man outside Nambucca Heads Police Station following a domestic dispute involving a 42-year-old woman. The man was charged at Macksville Police Station with the offence of common assault. He is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on December 13.

Low range drink drive
Police arrested a 34-year-old male driver on Sunday after he failed a random breath test along Giinagay Way, Nambucca Heads. The driver underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station returning a low range reading of 0.063. He was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on December 13.
Alleged assault
On Sunday police arrested a 37-year-old man in Macksville following investigations related to the allege domestic assault upon a 29-year-old woman at a Nambucca Heads address earlier. The man was charged at Macksville Police Station for the offences of: assault occasioning actual bodily harm and breaching an AVO. He is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court today.
Mid range reading
About 6:45pm on Saturday police arrested a 38-year-old male driver after he failed a random breath test along Riverside Dr, Nambucca Heads. The driver underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station and returned a mid range reading of 0.095. He was issued with a licence suspension and court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on December 13.
AVO breach
A 26-year-old man was arrested in Macksville on Saturday night following investigations related to a domestic violence incident the previous day involving a 23-year-old woman. The man was charged at Macksville for breaching an AVO. He is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on January 18, 2018.
RBT runner
A court attendance notice will be sent to a 25-year-old woman who left her car prior to a random breath testing site along Giinagay Way, Nambucca Heads on December 1 about 3pm. Checks on the woman revealed her driver’s licence was disqualified.
Shoplifting
On Friday a 24-year-old man was issued with an infringement notice for shoplifting following investigations related to the theft of property from a Macksville business on November 21.
Alleged knife threat
Last Thursday about 8:50pm police arrested a 65-year-old man at Scotts Head following investigations related to an incident that had occurred earlier in which he is alleged to have threatened a group of people with a knife. The man was charged at Macksville Police Station for the offences: use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence and drive suspended. He is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court today.
Family dispute
Police arrested a 23-year-old man last Thursday on Riverside Dr, Nambucca Heads following investigations related to the alleged assault upon a 51-year-old man at Macksville during a family dispute earlier that evening. The man was charged at Macksville Police Station for the offence of common assault and is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on December 13.
