THREE junior riders from the Nambucca River District Pony Club travelled to Willawarrin to compete in the final event for the 2017 season which has been a pretty sketchy one due to bad weather and Zone cancellations due to lack of numbers.

Jorja Woods was the best performed local rider on the day and was awarded The Glenn Brighton Memorial Trophy for her efforts.
In the Under 13 classes, Jorja placed third Pony Hack 13.1-1/2h, second Pleasure Hack, fourth Rider, second D Grade Jumping, fourth Bends, and fifth in In and Out the Paddock.
In the same age group Lilly McCormack placed third Galloway Hack 14h, third Barrel, third Bends, and third in In and Out the Paddock.
In the led classes, Soraya Drayton placed first in Pony Hack, first Rider, second Pairs, first Barrel, third Bends, and third in In and Out the Paddock.
The club members will hold their end of year break-up and annual general meeting at Scotts Head on Sunday.
