On Saturday, a 19-year-old was charged with the theft of a bottle of alcohol from a Nambucca Heads licensed premises earlier the same afternoon. He will appear before Macksville Local Court on December 13.

Disarmed
On Friday police confiscated an illegal weapon from the vehicle of a 28-year-old woman on Riverside Dr, Nambucca Heads. The woman will receive a court attendance notice.
Head-on
Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred about 6:33pm on Sunday on Taylors Arm Rd, Macksville.
A 37-year-old male driver is alleged to have been travelling eastbound when he veered into the opposite lane— straight into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
That vehicle was being driven by a 25-year-old man with a 17-year-old female passenger.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and towed from the scene.
All persons involved were taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital with various injuries.
Police are awaiting the results of mandatory blood tests before taking further action.
