It was the yearly ‘Pink Day’ where funds are raised for breast cancer. The 41 ladies who played in the 4BBB all got into the pink spirit and the course was a sea of pink shirts. Following the game there were raffles and other things to raise money, including some wonderful pink cupcakes made by the ladies.
The winners were Angela Paton and Wendy Ritchie with 43 points followed by Ann Antcliffe and Kerrie Jackson, 40 points, and Lyn Vidler and Coral McCann, 3rd with 39 points.
NTPs went to Gillian Anderson, Wendy Robey and Jill Gauenzinsk (a visitor) on the 5th, Coral McCann won the pizza and Morann Paterson took the 18th money hole. Jan Harris and Kerry Jackson won the special NT prizes. Balls went to 37.
The club was pleased to welcome visitors from Warringah, Russell Vale and Macksville.
Following the golf activities it was time for the ladies AGM. Reports were given by the president, treasurer and captain and then the new office bearers were elected.
The members were delighted that the previous committee members had all agreed to stand again.
December 6 will be a single stableford and the Christmas party will be on December 13.
