Leah Pickvance, Cohen Welsh, Asha Searle, Darcy Welsh and Declan Sutton brought home individual medals and the relay teams had fantastic swims to bring home the bling! Leah Pickvance was also awarded Age Champion for her fantastic results during the meet.
The girls 10yrs/U relay won gold in the four x 50m freestyle consisting of Courtney Clark, Keeley Sutton, Tayla Pearce and Leah Pickvance. In the girls 12yrs/U 4 x 50m medley Courtney Clark, Leah Pickvance, Jazmin Sutton and Tayla Pearce snatched the bronze. Not to be outdone, the boys 10yrs/U 4 x 50m freestyle relay team won silver, Asha Searle, Kirby Welsh, Brayden Clark and Cohen Welsh.
Swimming at their first ever SNC SC Champs were Georgia Pearce and Koah Searle who competed well, achieving personal best times.
The team had a fantastic meet, swimming well and enjoyed socialising with each other and competitors from other clubs. The Marlins came 7th overall in the point score which was an outstanding effort from a relatively small team. Coach Renee Pickvance was on hand to guide the swimmers during the warm up and competition.
