Police stopped over 210 vehicles for a random breath test in the Nambucca Valley.
On Friday afternoon a 38-year-old Nambucca woman was stopped on Giinagay Way.
A search of the vehicle revealed a number of plastic bags containing 7.8g of methamphetamine (ice) with a street value of $4000. She was charged with possession and supply of a prohibited drug.
She was released on conditional bail and will appear before Macksville Court on November 14.
Youth charged
Police arrested a male youth at a Macksville residence on Tuesday afternoon following an altercation at a local high school shortly beforehand.
The youth was charged at Macksville Police Station for the offences of harass/intimidate school staff member and trespass.
He is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Childrens Court on November 15.
Gumma tube accident
On Saturday morning police and emergency services were called to Gumma Reserve to an incident of a 14-year-old boy who had broken his arm after falling from an inflatable tube towed behind a boat in Warrell Creek.
The boy was treated onsite and taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital.
RMS Boat Safety Officers are investigating the incident.
Family dispute
Also on Saturday, police arrested a 37-year-old man about 10.45pm in McKay St, Macksville following investigations related to a family dispute that had occurred on November 2, in which a young woman was allegedly assaulted.
The man was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on November 15.
Alleged armed assault
A 30-year-old man was arrested on Friday about 11.15pm in Nambucca Heads following an altercation with a 40-year-old man, who sustained an injury to his upper left arm.
Police seized a sharp implement allegedly used by the offender.
He was charged at Macksville Police Station for a number of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, damage to property, intimidation, and armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
He was bailed and will appear before Macksville Local Court on November 15.
Unregistered vehicle
Police stopped an unregistered vehicle at 6.45am on November 1 on Fraser St, Nambucca Heads.
Checks on the 35-year-old male driver also confirmed his license was currently suspended.
He was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on December 13.
Cannabis seized
A search of a male youth arrested on an unrelated matter at 7pm on November 1, revealed a small amount of cannabis.
The young person was charged at Macksville Police Station for a number of offences including break and enter, harass/intimidate school staff member, trespass, and possess prohibited drug.
He is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Childrens Court on November 15.
