Steve Woods Brake and Exhaust donated prizes for a single stableford event on Saturday at Macksville. A number of visitors and locals returned home for the long weekend and participated in the event.

Garry Parish, a worker on the new highway, got some time off the roads to have a round of golf and took out the event with an amazing 50 points.
Barry McDonald flew out of the blocks to record 24 points over the front nine but recorded only 7 on the back nine.
Jim Wilkes took out the back nine in a count back.
Nearest the pin shots went to : A Grade - Steve Riddell, B Grade - Brian Brabant and Garry Parish claimed the C Grade.
Extra nearest the pin shots went to : A Grade - Darren Pike, B Grade - Tony Book and Garry Parish again took out the C Grade. Michael Simpson hit three brilliant shots on the par 5 eighteenth hole to score an eagle.
Next Saturday's stroke event is for the monthly medal and spoon with prizes donated by Triseleys Betta Home Electrical of Macksville and Nambucca Heads.
