THE ANNUAL Bede Clarke memorial three man ambrose was run on Saturday at Macksville Golf Course with a huge field taking part. Players came from all over to particpate.

Bede was a long time supporter of the club and worked as a greenkeeper for a number of years.
Winners were the team of Rod Curtis, Dave Poole and Matt Ward (making a comeback). Runners-up were Gary and Matt Clarke with Dale Brunsdon.
Front nine winners were Beau Lavender, Dave Maloney and Mark Fuller.
The back nine went to an experienced team of Steve Ash, Brian King and Col Fraser.

Nearest the pin shots on the 4th hole went to: A Grade - Todd Riley, B Grade - no one got the mark, and Chris McDonald claimed the C Grade.
Other nearest the pins: 2nd Hole - Allan Clarke, again no B Grader hit the 10th, and Peter Bartlett claimed the C Grade on the 6th.
The big hitters lined up for the long drive on the difficult 7th hole with Matt Clarke taking out A Grade, Paul Donges winning B Grade and Garry Jarrett winning C Grade. Garry Witte took out the putting.
This Saturday’s event at Macksville is a twoball aggregate stableford for the Captain’s versus President’s Day. Trophies have been donated by Frank Munro of Shifting Sands.
