Nambucca resident George Micolich was active with his camera on Sunday night and Monday as heavy seas smashed into the V-Wall causing major erosion.

Mr Micolich said there were quite a few people who came down to watch 'the unusual water behaviour'.
"The V-Wall carpark was covered in sand and water with large rocks being moved around," George said.
"Parts of Wellington Dr were partly closed, and residents spent the (Monday) morning cleaning up!"
Large southerly swells of this kind have not been seen along the coast for quite some time.
CoastalWatch predicted that Sunday would see exceptionally large storm-swell hammering exposed northern NSW coasts at anywhere from 8 to 12ft, with its peak coinciding with strong SSW winds.
