MACKENZIE Peterkin has had a busy and successful year so far starting with competing at the Show Horse Council Grand National Championships at Sydney International Equestrian Centre in the Childs Galloway class.

Mackenzie and her horse Roseden Class Act were named in the Top 10 Childs Galloway class with competitors coming from all over the country.
Mackenzie then competed with her two horses Roseden Class Act or ‘Brando’ as he is affectionately known and Thorwood Southern Bell or ‘Poppy’ at the Sydney Royal Show with Brando winning his led ANSA gelding class and then went on with Mackenzie on board to win the large class of Ridden ANSA gelding.
Mackenzie also placed 4th in her Novice Rider under 17 years, and 5th in her Open Rider class.
Poppy placed 2nd in her led Part APSB class and 4th in her led Riding pony class and went on to receive a 5th in her ridden part APSB class.
Mackenzie has attended four ag shows this year being Macksville, Maclean, Grafton and Coffs Harbour. Poppy was awarded Champion at two of the shows and Reserve Champion at the other two.
Brando was awarded Champion Galloway at three of these shows and went on at all three to be sashed the Supreme Hack of the Show. Mackenzie was also awarded Supreme Rider Under 17 years at Grafton and Coffs Harbour.
