t was a great meet with two days of competitive racing with 438 competitors representing 59 clubs from Country NSW in attendance.
For swimmers Brayden Clark, Courtney Clark, Corey Gleeson, Rhys Gleeson and Symon Gleeson it was their first time attending a meet of this magnitude and gave them a taste of competitive swimming at this level.
They took it in their stride, however, with all of them achieving good placings in their events and a number of personal bests.
Declan Sutton was rewarded with four gold medals from his nine events and although placing 1st
in four events and second in another he was unable to receive medals in these events due to previous podium finishes at the NSW Country Championships in February 2016.

Meanwhile, this year Swimming North Coast will be trialling the use of online entries for the SNC Long Course Championships at Coffs Harbour on November 25-26 and for the Speedo Sprint Series heats in February 2018.
