The Mason Rack Band have recently returned from their sixth Canadian tour, which was sold out again.
Festival favourites, The Mason Rack Band have also been added to European touring managers ‘Muddy Lives’, who witnessed their set at the Grolsch blues festival in Germany and signed them to their touring stable, touring Europe in 2014.
When it comes to live performance ‘MRB’ are entertainment monsters. Their drum duels, onstage antics and signature movements set them apart from everything and everyone else.
The popular three-piece is renowned for their amazing live stage performances. The band has played alongside artists including Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, Buddy Guy and Keith Urban to name a few.
Mason Rack is a born entertainer – growing up playing percussion at the age of six with his musician father Billy Rack.
Progressing to drums at age eight, Mason was able to play any style of music. For the next four years Mason developed a natural rhythm that is now part of his soul and way of life.
The raspy vocals of lead frontman Mason have been described by fans as one of the sexiest voices in the blues music scene with flashes from Tom Waits and Robert Plant.
On bass is Jamie ‘Robo’ Roberts. Constantly recording as a prominent session musician, Jamie’s influences are as varied as his instruments, guitar and bass, in fact, nearly anything with strings.
Completing the line-up is Jule ‘the Ginger Ninja’ Keshan on drums.
Coming from a family of drummers, Jule was born with sticks in his hand.
His mastery has been described as a true vault of precision, feel and attack.
Said one fan of The Mason Rack Band: “Saw these guys last night and they were friggin' amazing! One of the most amazing live experiences I have ever had. These guys drag the blues kicking and screaming into the 21st century ... they have to be seen to be believed!”
