A few damp patches on the track forced the event to be moved back from its original date of the Saturday just past.

Diggers Tavern has been a long-term sponsor of this event and the Nambucca River Jockey Club is pleased to again link with them to make this day a premier event on the 2017 race calendar at Bowraville.

While some inclement weather has caused interruptions to the racing calendar at Bowraville over past years the Jockey Club is looking forward with optimism to this year’s event.

The track is in pristine condition and a large number of patrons have already indicated their intention to attend. All usual facilities will be operating and a great day is assured for all who attend.
