The NDIS promises to pay for disability supports that are deemed “reasonable and necessary” for that person to live an ordinary life and achieve their goals.
Nambucca Valley Phoenix has been helping its clients (and their families and carers) ‘Get Plan Ready’ for the NDIS as it starts its roll-out
“Now is the time to be ready, as we start to transition on July 1 this year,” says Melissa Fitzgerald, general manager.
“Nambucca Valley Phoenix is a registered provider of supports under the NDIS and we’re happy to guide you through the process.”
Nambucca Valley Phoenix has been a proud provider of community support services for 25 years.
The many services on offer include disability support services like life skills, community participation and group/centre based activities, as well as being the only Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) in the Nambucca Valley – providing supported and paid employment for people in office, café, op shop and work crews. Other services include Aboriginal support programs, women’s groups, men’s groups and mental health programs.
