Sydney copped a downpour on Tuesday evening with a low pressure system bringing 50 mm of rain.
This low pressure system is now moving up the coast and the tail end of the system is contributing to a coastal trough sitting off the Mid North Coast.
This trough could bring significant rain into the long weekend with inland areas expecting drier conditions.
