Her books have been reviewed by the Sydney Morning Herald, and many other national newspapers.
The Australian Women’s Weekly described her writing as “crisp, tense and fast-moving story-telling”, saying “Seaton absolutely raises the bar in rural fiction”.
Annie has recently signed a two book deal with Harper Collins, and is heading off to research her next book set in the wilds of North Queensland. On her list of future books is a story based on the shipwreck of the Wellington off Nambucca Heads in 1892.
Each winter, Annie and her husband leave the beach to roam the remote areas of Australia for story ideas and research. In late June she will be speaking at the Outback Writers’ Festival in Winton.
Her latest book, Diamond Sky (available in stores and ebook on June 27) is set in the rugged east Kimberley of Western Australia.
It will be launched by mayor Rhonda Hoban at Nambucca Heads Library, Ridge St, at 10.30am on Thursday July 20.
