On Wednesday more than 100 children were kept busy with basketball, a barbeque and of course and Easter egg hunt.
One of the organisers, the Nambucca Youthie’s Michelle Jarrett, said it was great to see the kids having a good time, adding it could not have happened without a lot of support from local sponsors.
“This is part of the youth outreach program we have for Bowraville,” Michelle said.
“It follows on from Recommendation 14 of the Parliamentary Inquiry into the impact the Bowraville Murders have had on families.
“The local support has been excellent – we really appreciate it.”
