THE UNDER 16s East Coast Dolphins side is through to the semi-finals of the SLE Worldwide Australia Country Championships after their 40-16 round three win over the Greater Northern Tigers on Saturday.
Bowraville’s Jordan Moore was among the try scorers for the young side.
They will travel to Bathurst this weekend where they will go head to head with the Bidgee Bulls for a spot in the grand final to be played on April 1 – venue to be determined after the completion of this weekend’s semis.
Unfortunately, the 18s run of bad luck continued, going down to a determined Tigers side 52-16. Macksville’s Lleyton Doolan was among the try scorers in the game.
This means the side misses out on a spot in the semi finals, which given the dedication from both coaches and players is a disappointing outcome.
