A LOW pressure trough has deepened off the coast today and is expected to persist into the weekend.
There’s potential for significant rainfall totals to build up in the northeast by the end of the week.
This rainfall has the potential to cause minor to moderate flooding in the Nambucca.
Local Scotts Head resident Moira Ryan said she’d recorded around 100mls of rain since 9am, 40mls in approximately one hour from 1pm.
