The club has bought five large inflatable water rides and installed them on the old turf green – giving youngsters a fun place to gather on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
“The club is embracing a family friendly environment for both the people of Nambucca and for tourists,” the club’s Tony Stokes told the Guardian.
The costs of using the water park is $5 for the children of club members, and $10 for non members.
Tony said the rides are suited for youngsters aged from three years to 17, and fully qualified staff with bronze medallion certification are on hand to supervise the fun park.
The club is also investigating the possibility of a pop-up coffee shop as part of the amenity. While the new attraction operates from 4 to 8pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday during Daylight Saving, Tony said the facility could also be hired out for private celebrations such as children’s birthday parties.
