A large number of kids turned up for the sign on day, activities and sausage sizzle at Bellwood Park.
Gary Stevenson and Jessie Reeves from Country Rugby League/NRL Northern Development took part in the day, coordinating and playing a couple of games of football with the kids and even had some giveaways.
Junior Roosters president Luke Bateman said so far, it’s shaping up to be a great season.
The first training session for the juniors will be on March 14 from 4.30pm at Coronation Park, Nambucca Heads.
Registrations are still being taken.
Boys and girls interested in playing can see the committee members at the canteen on training days or they can send an email to: ljepearson83@hotmail.com.
Each child receives socks, shorts and game day shirt as part of their registration.
