A 53-year-old man is assisting police after they seized quantities of cannabis and a semi-automatic firearm at a Eungai Creek residence on Monday at about 10:50am.

Pokies theft
Police issued a 31-year-old old woman with a court attendance notice last Friday after investigating the theft of money from a poker machine at a Nambucca Heads licenced premises. The woman will appear before Macksville Local Court on October 19.
Trespassing
Local police were alerted to a man acting suspiciously within the grounds of an electricity depot at Nambucca Heads on Tuesday. They issued a 32-year-old man with an infringement notice for trespassing
Disqualified driver
Last Thursday at about 6:45pm police issued a court attendance notice to a 28-year-old male driver after he was unable to produce his drivers licence during a random breath test stop. Checks revealed he was currently disqualified. The man will appear before Macksville Local Court on November 15.
Drunk and disorderly
Also last Thursday, at about 10pm, police were alerted to a drunk and disorderly female at the Macksville Railway Station. A 42-year-old woman was detained and taken to Kempsey Police Station where she was advised she would be receiving infringement notices for consuming alcohol on a railway platform and offensive behaviour.
