Some 30 representatives – from Nambucca Heads and Macksville – travelled.
The individual events took place at Carnarvon and Liverpool golf clubs and the foursomes competition was played in very blustery conditions at the challenging Macquarie Links Golf Club.
There were 130 ladies competing in the events (singles and the foursomes).
And the ladies from The Island Golf Course at Nambucca Heads enjoyed considerable success.
Donna Easey won Division 2, while Una Clift was victorious in the Bowl and was also the winner of the Day 2 event.
In Division 3, Leanne Welsh tied for 5th.
In the difficult conditions at Macquarie Links, Lesley Buxton and Kerry Naylor triumphed to be scratch winners in Division 2 of the foursomes. Di Hopkins and Sue O’Donnell tied for 5th.
