In the Nambucca Shire, the following four reserves will benefit:
Deep Creek – removal of Groundsel Bush: $4,950,
Rotary Lookout – various upgrade works: $29,080,
Swimming Creek –control invasive weeds: $16,500
Grassy Head Reserve, weed control of the coastal corridor: $20,000
The Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey, said the allocations were part of the NSW Government’s Public Reserves Management Fund which supports the community’s highly-valued public assets.
“Our state-owned public reserves are very important for our communities and this funding will directly contribute to the upkeep of their amenity and infrastructure.”
Across the state, 440 projects will benefit from $15 million in the latest round of the Public Reserves Management Fund.
