The cast, band and crew are reliving the disco days of the ’70s! The musical, a comedy, is loosely based on the story of Faust, who makes a contract with the devil.
Jack (played by Orin Muir-Wren) is working late in a disco nightclub. He meets Lady Marmalade (acted by Tiarna Halloran) who is a minion of the devil. Jack dreams of success (despite his lack of talent) and Lady Marmalade fulfills his wildest dreams.
Jack’s devoted girlfriend, Jane (performed by Josie Sutherland), supports his way to international success with no recognition. The question is, will Jane survive?
As Jack gains international success, his life worsens and he wishes it all to go back to the time before he met Lady Marmalade.
Lead singer Josie Sutherland pumps out many of the songs including her highlight, I Will Survive.
Band members have reformed as ‘The Fallen Angels’ after NHHS’s last successful musical.
Favourite NHHS actors like Riley Hayden, Georgia Hoffman and Lily Dedman return to the stage in the supporting roles. Newcomer to the stage, Sam Bellamy, will make you laugh and cry as he acts the role of the DJ.
From Ballroom Blitz to Bowie’s Starman and Abba’s Money, Money, Money, Nambucca High is set to rock the stage.
Tickets are now available through The Box Office (the front office) at Nambucca Heads High School and are selling fast.
