“I went to Stuart Island early on Sunday and witnessed the landscaped gardens littered with dozens of beer bottles and other rubbish,” Brian said.

“Don Parveez and I cleaned up the mess, which he says is a regular occurrence when Nambucca Rugby League has home games.

“A local lady, who was walking her dogs, also helped.”
