Rodney was a well-loved member of the NVAC who is very much missed after passing away last September.
He was a talented artist who painted in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel. Images for his work came from places he had been as well as visions and dreams and his choice of subject matter was wide and varied.
Rodney’s family have donated more than 60 of his works for sale. Prices will be very reasonable as the paintings need to be sold with proceeds going to the Cancer Council.
A morning tea will be held in the Stringer Gallery, Nambucca Heads on Wednesday, May 3 from 10.30am, to launch Rodney’s exhibition. Also featured will be the winning entries at the Macksville Agricultural Show.
Everyone welcome.
