2016 Entries: Paintings can be created on many different surfaces, as this collection by Dave Donovan from Mid Coast Mural & Surf Art proves.
And it will indeed be a wonderful world for you, should you win one of the many prizes on offer!
But you’d best hurry! Closing date for entries is this Friday, March 31, at 5pm.
The exhibition will be held at Club Scotts, opening on Friday, April 7 at 6pm. The exhibits will also be available for viewing on Saturday, April 8 from 10am-4pm.
Viewers vote for their choice in all categories, to determine the prize winners.
Categories
- Painting
- Drawing

- Children (under-16)
Prizes
- First prize in each adult category – $350.
- Children’s prize – $50.
- People’s Choice – $100.
- Prize winners announced at 4pm on Sunday, April 9 on the festival main stage.
Rules
- Each entrant may submit up to three 2-D or 3-D artworks.
- All work must be clearly labeled with name, phone number, title of work, category and sale price.
- Artworks must be ready for hanging.
- Organisers reserve the right to reject any artworks that are wet, dangerous or unsuitable for hanging.
- Late entries will not be accepted.
- Commission of 20% will be charged for any work sold. This will help ensure the on going success of this event.
- No refund of entry fees for any work not accepted.
- All care will be taken and security provided, however no liability is accepted for any loss or damage during the exhibition.
- Entrants accept responsibility for their own Personal Liability Insurance.
- All works will be securely locked within the club outside opening hours.
Fees
- Adults, $20 for the first artwork and $10 for each additional work.
- Children, $5 per artwork.
How to enter
- Entry forms must be submitted either online at scottsheadfestival.com.au, or by email to info@scottsheadfestival.com.au, by Friday, March 31 5pm.
- Artworks must be delivered to Club Scotts, 26 West Street, Scotts Head on Friday, April 7 between 8am and noon.
- All unsold work needs to be collected on Saturday, April 8, 4-6pm.
- Any uncollected work will be stored at a cost of $5 per day to the artist.
